Never Enough Time For your Health

The average person has about 18 hours a day to complete the numerous tasks one may have in a 24 hour time period. This would  mean that people are only getting 6 hours a day of sleep. Eighteen hours a day seems more than enough time to complete any long laundry list of things to do. Although, people are complaining of feeling worn out and unaccomplished.

Removing ourselves from the problem and look in we may find some perspective. The number one important thing in our lives should be our health/ well-being. If we continue to put that last on our to do list we will for ever feel unaccomplished.Taking the time to reorganize your schedule may be the best time invested.

Here is an outline of what the body needs in order to function and be prosperous.

7- 8 hours a day of sleep: Sleep restriction is hard on your body and may cause a variety of negative symptoms; decline in work efficiency, slowed metabolism, and illness--even death.

water, water, water: this is key to all body functions. Dehydration may cause joint pain, stomach pain & ulcers, back pain, low energy, mental confusion & disorientation

food:A balanced diet consists of food from the five basic food groups in the correct proportions

oxygen: Everyone needs oxygen, the cleaner the better... go for a walk

sun: moderate sun exposure key source of vitamin D

exercise: Reduces the risk of premature death, heart disease, maintain body weight or body fat, build and maintain healthy muscles, bones, and joints, decrease depression and anxiety,Improve psychological well-being, and enhance work, recreation, and sport performance etc.
